GROUP 2 EVEREST

Imagine with all your mind. Believe with all your heart. Achieve with all your might.”

-Vanes, Kevin, Vonny, Justin-

Achievement. The word that sums up our last excursion. We woke up today with different thoughts in our mind. Some were happy, some were excited, others were frustrated, tired and lazy. 6 hours. That was how long we sat still in the moving object. Majority whined at boredom, but once the view of Botanical garden catches our eyes, we went silent. The breathtaking view closed our mouth from complains. This is going to get interesting..

The view was nice beautiful

"Get lost in nature and you will find yourself"

We interviewed the people working in the garden in pursuance of 6 questions we’ve made regarding to “achievement”. What a surprise when we heard that most of the people there think that it’s an achievement to get the chance to take care and preserve the green nature.

The picture above is our interview with a hard-working lady who think that the Botanical Garden is indeed included as an achievement for Indonesia since it is one of the country’s assets which is relatively famous several worldwide countries. Achievement is defined by her as “anything and everything a person wants that has been achieved”. Just like us, she believe that this is a very beautiful place to be in. She’s here to cook for the tourist who comes to visit. One thing that she really wants to achieve in her life is to be able to educate her children.

Age is no barrier...

We learned an important lesson from a very old sweet lady; You are never too old to achieve your goals, to have dreams, to wander what it's like to earn for something more. She told us how she wanted to have a happy family. We all know that people at her age should've been retired and just rest. She did the total opposite. She reaches higher. She pushes her boundaries, because age is never a limit.

"Nature never goes out of style"

"Why am I the only one ready for the picture" -The lovely Horse

You can't mess with us
They all were here for a reason. Most work to feed their families; some work for their hobbies; others work genuinely for the garden itself. It’s been a remarkable experience to explore what it’s like to be in an awe-inspiring place and to get to know about the people’s interpretation on ‘achievement’. We learned that the word “achievement” can mean more than a hundred thing. There’s no right or wrong. It all depends on how you perceive and process it.

WORK HARD AND BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU WILL THEN ACHIEVE!
